Community Legend

Community Legend

The Knockoffs Run Club Community Legend Program celebrates members who use their passion for running to create positive change beyond fitness. It recognises individuals supporting meaningful causes and aims to inspire others to see movement as a tool for social impact. By sharing their stories, the program encourages the wider community to give back and make a difference.

Renee Moody - 2025 KORC Community Legend

Supporting charity: Movember

Meet Renee – Our First Community Legend for 2025

If you’ve ever been to a Knockoffs event or seen our social media, chances are Renee has had something to do with it. Quietly working behind the scenes, she brings unmatched passion, enthusiasm, and drive to our club and the community we serve. Renee cares deeply about ensuring Knockoffs Run Club not only survives but thrives - she truly is one of our unsung heroes.

A proud run leader and committed committee member, Renee first joined us in January 2021 with her beloved four-legged friend Kenny and husband Joe in tow. Since then, she’s gone from a non-runner to marathoner, and now has little Winston (second dog) and Remi (their son) joining the clan too.

A long-standing dream of Renee’s has been to run the New York City Marathon. After years of setbacks, she’s finally been accepted into the 2025 edition - and she’ll be running to raise funds for Movember.

We’re incredibly proud to name Renee as our first Community Legend for 2025, and we’re excited to highlight, share, and support her journey to NYC this November.
